Digermulen is a small village on the beautiful islands of Lofoten. The place is widely renowned for its untamed, lush nature with high peaks and turquoise waters. Located on the shorelines of the Raftsundet strait, few areas along the Norwegian coastline are as rich in legend and history. The dramatic scenery around Trollfjorden, bountiful waters for fishing, midnight sun and northern lights have led visitors to this remote piece of land for centuries. For those who seek an escape to the arctic, Digermulen is the perfect place to explore untrodden land, climb powdery tops and face the stormy blues.

The closest airport and city centre is Svolvær, about 1h drive from Solheim. Here you will find restaurants, tourist info and local services. Activities can be arranged on request. The roadless Risvær islands and Trollfjorden are only minutes away by sea. Other great local attractions include Dronningtind and Keiservarden peaks, Haversand laguna, and Kjerringveien trail. There is a 24-hour shop, church and filling station about 5 minutes drive from the house. For a day out, visit Henningsvær fishing village, Møysalen national park, surf at Delp, whale watch at Andenes, or have a world class meal at Kvitnes Gård.
